This is a Stillman & Birn beta series sketchbook featuring mostly scenes around Cleveland. A sketchbook, or any plein air art for that matter is a time machine. As I watch this, my mind goes back to every sketch, whether I met someone while painting, the weather (lots of time the wind or brutal heat), time of day, my mood. People can get chatty sometimes.
