Out with the Urban Sketchers on April 18,2021, Daffodil Hill is in Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland, what is essentially a marvelous urban park. They plant 10s of thousands of daffodil bulbs in one hilly area, constantly renewing the plantings year after year and people flock to see it. After the winter Covid lockdown, things were opening up a bit and people were itching for a reason to get out. The weather was a little dicey, and it fluctuated from a sunny 55º to a blustery splatter of rain at times, resulting in a couple spots of raindrops on the left. This was a week after I painted the Wade Lagoon and the Cleveland Museum of Art, which was a real coming out party!
