This was my first painting of a Schweinfurth bridge and maybe my best. The backlit plantings and dappled shadows made this a wonderful day and painting. I park my bike up top on a side road and ride down with all of the equipment. It’s a beautiful thing to be able to do this, both physically and mentally, and I don’t take it for granted.
