Severely pruned street trees and electrical wires. The shapes of repeated roofs and so many parked cars. The squiggles of asphalt repair and repeated shrub shapes. These are a few of my favorite things. That and the sound of light rail cars riding the rails to the right of me while I painted this. I loved taking the RTA rapid transit when I was a kid. Here in Cleveland we have the same kind of light rail cars that Chicago has. They’re awesome.
